2025 From Jamaica to Dublin Scioto Leshawn Alves
Words from Leshawn
I didn’t get playtime because I didn’t understand anything about the sport, and I had just come to the USA from Jamaica when my uncle decided to bring me to a football game and explain the rules and the basics, and I told him that it’s a good sport, so when I started going to Scioto, I signed up for football in the middle of the season. That’s why I didn’t get playing time because I didn’t know anything about it. Then I met my head coach, who helped me get an understanding of football, followed by my uncle.
