From your freshman season to right now, how have you grown as a football player? I have gained knowledge from experienced coaching staffs from all the camps I’ve attended and have trained harder the past 3 years, reaching new heights and success. All my hard work is paying off, and I’ve been able to display my talents and learn from my mistakes and the people around me to become the best player I can be.

With this being your final high school season, have you prepared any differently? Explain

Yes, I have set multiple record-shattering goals for this upcoming season because my final season has to be something special. Now that I’m a senior and a leader of this team, I have been working with underclassmen and giving some of my experience and knowledge to the younger guys to help us go get another league championship and have a playoff run and do things we’re coached to do and prepare myself to go play Division 1 football next year.

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for and the thing that made them so good?

The best team we have played would probably be Ironton in a 7 on 7, and Shaun Terry would be the best player I have ever faced because he matched my speed, although I would say I was a little faster.

Which game are you looking forward to the most this season? Explain

I look forward to playing every team on our schedule and dominating every game because we kind of owe a couple of teams for last year, and a couple of teams will be trying to prove some stuff for what we did to them, so I will be looking forward 1 week at a time to 10-0 and then whoever we face in the playoffs.

What goals are you setting for yourself?

2000 all-purpose yards, 20 touchdowns, 10-0 record, run a 4.4 official 40 put on 10 pounds with my workouts and protein supplements before the upcoming season starts.

What goals are you setting for your team?

10-0 record, deep playoff run, helping underclassmen with our program expectations, and helping them execute because it takes all 11.

What advice would you give a younger student who comes to you asking why he should play football?

I would say football makes you a better man and gives you discipline and a work ethic that a lot of these younger guys don’t have because they don’t like working. To be successful in life, you need to work and earn your way.

What is the best advice you were given when it comes to football , along with who gave it to you?

“Always outwork your opponents in practice; that way it’s easy on game day when they’re tired.” Dad

Why should your number be called when the game is on the line?

I'm going to give 110 percent and make a play. I'm a huge play maker in clutch scenarios. I always tell my coach, Just get me the ball, and points get to rolling.

What has been your biggest memory as a football player?

Scoring 3 touchdowns in the league championship game and my mom seeing me on thee news always feels good—it always feels good to see your parents proud.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?

Yes, I would never deny a game of football.

Could you share with everyone some of the colleges that are recruiting you?

Army, Morehead, Troy, Marshall, Columbia, Ohio, USF, UMass, Mercyhurst, St. Thomas, and UAB

What is a food you enjoy that most others do not?

Chipotle has a lot of protein, and you can get as much as you want.

Who are your role models?

Dad

What is your favorite sports movie or sports TV show?

Rocky
