What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
The connection I had with them, whether that was hanging out in the summer after football, recovering our bodies, or going out to eat
What makes you a good teammate?
I believe that I’m a good teammate because I work hard and respect my teammates while also making sure we are all working hard to reach our goals for the season.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense? Explain
Defense, I played more defense throughout my high school career, and I have faith in whoever we put out on defense because I know those are the guys that are willing to give it their all along with me. With that being said, we have a very tight group on the offensive side that we play hard for everyone in the program.
Why should your number be called in a critical situation?
I’m ready for big-time plays and believe that I can make any play that is thrown my way. I’m confident that the work I put in will help me succeed on the field.
Which game are you looking forward to the most? Explain
I’d say any of the Olentangy schools just because it’s in the district, and I’ve grown up playing with or against a lot of those guys.
How do you help a teammate who is having a bad game or practice?
I’ll let them know that everyone on the field has made a mistake, and it’s just about the next play.
So far, what has been your biggest moment as an athlete?
I’d say basketball is winning a state championship, and football is flipping our record around from my sophomore to junior year.
With this being your final high school football season, have you trained differently this off-season?
I’ve done a lot of training to make sure I’m prepared and ready for my senior year.
What part of your game do you feel is the strongest?
I believe that the strongest part of my game is my ball skills at DB and being able to go get the ball when it presents itself.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for, and the thing that made him so good?
I think the best receiver I’ve guarded is Trent Wolpert from UA; they had plays dialed up for our defense game plan getting him the ball early.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you? Explain.
I play basketball too, so I wouldn’t be able to play in any all-star games post-season.
Would you share with the fans some of the schools that are recruiting you?
I’ve had colleges from all levels reach out from around the Midwest area and a few from outside of the Midwest.
What scares you?
Honestly, just the last year playing high school sports with the guys I grew up with.
Where is the best spot in town to grab a pizza?
I’d have to Tarantos pizza.
