How much better is it for the team to have a stadium on campus as opposed to having it away from campus?

It’s so nice having a stadium right by the high school instead of having to be bussed over. I’d say we’re truly grateful for the community and the opportunity to play and train in such state-of-the-art facilities.

What are your personal goals for the season?

My personal goals for the season are to earn First Team All-League honors and be selected for All-Southwest Ohio honors.

What goals are you setting for your team?

The goal for the team is to win its first playoff game in school history and bring home the Miami Valley League title. It won’t be easy—Division II Region 8 football is full of tough talent—but we’re up for the challenge.

What is the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing football?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned from football is accountability—not just for myself, but for my teammates and those around me. Football has helped me develop that mindset of being responsible for more than just myself.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, any sport, at any age?

The biggest moment as an athlete so far for me was getting my first varsity sack on the opening drive of my sophomore season; it was my first varsity start. And it was an unforgettable moment.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played on?

The best player I’ve played against was Jake Wheelock from Stebbins High School—he’s now at the University of Cincinnati.

What are you going to miss from the 2025 class?

I’m going to miss the energy brought by the outgoing seniors. They always showed up ready to work and brought a competitive edge every day.

What makes you a good teammate?

What makes me a good teammate is my ability to lead in the trenches. I take pride in holding myself and others to a high standard. I push our guys to get after it—and that all comes back to the culture our coaches and players are building together.

What game are you looking forward to the most? Explain

The game I’m looking forward to the most is against Xenia. They’re our MVL rival and took the trophy last year, so we’re definitely ready to bring it back to Fairborn.

What is your favorite type of weather to play in?

My favorite weather to play in is a cool breeze with a beautiful sunset over the gridiron.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete?

The best part about being a student-athlete is pursuing excellence both in the classroom and on the field.

What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete?

The toughest part about being a student-athlete is balancing schoolwork and practice. Being a three-sport athlete adds to the challenge—but that’s what sports are all about.

Who are your role models?

My role models are my dad, my grandpa, and my coaches. They each play a major role in my life and help guide me in different ways.

Have you gone to a University of Dayton football game?

I’ve never been to a Dayton football game, but I bet the atmosphere is through the roof!

Memories from Noah

A small recap of last year: we were a young Fairborn team (3–7) that grew a lot as the season went on and continued to build through the off-season. My favorite moment from last year was stepping on the turf with all the guys for the first time at the New Alumni Stadium. The best part of that night was after the game—seeing all the fans celebrate as we rang the victory bell for the first time.
