With this being your final high school season, are you approaching things any differently?

I’ve been working a lot harder than I ever have this offseason to make a statement to everyone.

What makes being a student-athlete at Schuylkill Haven so special?

The community. Everyone helps everybody in Haven; it’s something special.

What is the toughest aspect of being a student-athlete?

Being able to balance class and school and not becoming an athlete-student.

What are you most excited about this season?

Winning the State Championship.

What game are you looking forward to the most this season? Explain

Whatever game we play next. Every game is important.

As a football player, what has been your biggest moment on the field?

Throwing my first touchdown. It’s a feeling you can’t recreate.

Focusing on only the road games that you have played in, which stadium has had the best overall atmosphere?

Minersville. We won 72-52. It was by far the best environment I’ve been a part of.

What makes you a good teammate?

My leadership. I make sure everyone knows what they’re doing and how to do it.

What is the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing football?

How to work with other people. In football, if one person does something wrong, the whole play falls apart.

After the season, if you get a chance to play in any of the all-star games, will you?

I’m going to take the opportunity to play every snap I can.

A big game last year for me was the game against Eastern Pike; even though the score didn’t show it, I feel like I had a good game on both sides of the ball. Eastern is always a good game.
