Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
Last season was historic for our team. It was the first undefeated regular season in school history. Unfortunately, I was injured in week 3 and missed all of weeks 4-6. I came back for a half in week 7 and then full-time against an undefeated West York team and threw three touchdowns in the win. We beat 7 playoff teams last season, including Bermudian Springs, who won 3A Districts, and two-time defending champ Cocalico. The highlight had to be the two-minute drill I led against Exeter to tie the game in the playoffs. Unfortunately, we couldn’t hang on, and a big kickoff return set up the game-winning field goal. But it was a great experience for me and the guys coming back.
What are your personal goals for the 2025 season?
2,000 yards passing and 25 touchdowns
What goals are you placing forth for the team?
Division Championship and a District playoff run.
What two games stick out the most to you from last season? Explain
Our week 2 win against Cocalico and our playoff game vs. Exeter. The Cocalico game was our first big test. Going up against the back-to-back district champs and beating them 21-0 was a big statement that set the tone for the rest of our season. The Exeter game, though we fell short, was an extremely hard-fought game, and we did everything we could to win, coming up just short.
Baseball, basketball, and football. How long have you played each sport?
Baseball since age 6 basketball around the same and football since 4th grade
Baseball, basketball, and football—will you play all three sports during your senior year?
Yes. I’m a starter and captain in all three, and we have a very strong class. We made the playoffs this season in all three and are expecting big things next year.
What makes you a good teammate?
My leadership ability and my love of the game. I am always having fun and pushing myself to my peak while doing it. By doing so, I make it easier for my teammates to excel.
What is your favorite play to run?
Four Verticals concept with optional stop routes because it’s almost impossible to stop since if my receiver is covered, I can just throw the stop route.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?
Throwing the touchdown on the two-minute drive vs. Exeter.
What has been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete?
This year in baseball I was stealing second on a wet field, and I slid and came up a few feet short of the bag. I was just lying there as the throw came, and the second baseman tagged me.
Where should the state finals be held?
Beaver Stadium would be sick. But I’m fine wherever. Just want to get there!
After the season, will you play in any of the all-star games if you are invited?
Absolutely.
How is the recruiting process going for you in each sport?
I’m focused on football for recruiting. It’s going well. I’m focused on high academic schools, whether that be Ivy League, Patriot League, or high academic Division 3 schools. I think since my season was cut short last year and we were up big in almost every game and sat our starters in the fourth quarter, I didn’t have huge numbers like some other guys, and that kept me off the radar some. But I’ve been working hard, and I’m looking forward to opening some eyes over the camp season.
What is the one song that you have to listen to before taking the field?
9 by Drake
Where are you heading for your perfect vacation?
Hawaii
What is the one sport you refuse to watch?
I’ll pretty much watch anything.
