With this being your last high school season, are you approaching things differently?

I haven't been approaching this season differently than others. It has been on my mind that this is the last time playing with my buddies.

What makes you a good teammate?

I'd say that I give 110 percent on the field every time I'm on the field for my team.

What does community buy-in mean to you?

Every game, home and away, we pack the bleachers, which I think they do a great job of doing.

What game are you looking forward to?

Unioto

What would it mean to win the gold ball in your final season?

It would mean a lot to me. I don't think a lot of classes have been able to do it twice in their high school career.

Would you rather beat your rival and miss the playoffs or lose to your rival and make the playoffs?

I would rather lose to my rivals and make the playoffs because the playoffs are just different.

Looking at only the road stadiums, which had the best atmosphere?

Unioto

When the game is on the line, why should your name be called?

My name should be called because when the game is on the line, I trust my ability to make the big play.

How do you get over a bad game?

Shake it off and prepare twice as hard next week.

Where on the field do you feel best at?

Sitting at free safety, watching the QB's eyes and jumping routes

If you are invited to any all-star games after the season, will you play in them?

Yes, I will.

Would you share with everyone some of the schools that are recruiting you?

I have had conversations with coaches from Knox College and Taylor University and a couple more.

Where is your dream vacation?

I always like going to Florida and hanging out on the beach.

Which holiday is your favorite?

Christmas

What is one food you enjoy that others might not?

Salmon don't see people eat that a bunch.

Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
