Jersey Number: Last year I wore #83, but I plan on changing numbers.
Awards won or earned: I lettered as a sophomore.
How important is it to you that the team gets along together not only on the field but off of it too?
I think it is very important. If you can't get along off the field, it's going to be hard to get along on the field. If we can't get along on the field, more mistakes happen, and that's how you can lose games.
What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
I will miss all my teammates that helped me translate my abilities to the varsity level. The 2025 class definitely was the most helpful because of how much experience and skill they had. Any time I had a question about plays or how I could make myself better, I could always go to one of our seniors for help.
What is the best part of being a tight end?
The best thing about being a tight end is being reliable in both the pass game and the run game.
What is the toughest part of being a tight end?
Being able to face adversity. As a tight end, there will be many times when I have to block someone bigger or stronger than me.
What part of your game must you improve on the most to be a better player?
I've always said that I'm more of a receiver than a blocker; if I can make my blocking as good as my ability to catch the ball, it would benefit me significantly.
What have you been able to do during the off-season to be a better player?
I've worked on my speed and explosiveness more this offseason because I need to be as quick as possible when running routes.
Who has been the best player that you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he played for?
Nobody specifically yet; there are a lot of great players in Central Ohio.
Which weather is the best to play in?
The best weather to play in is warm and clear weather. I'd say my favorite weather to play in is the snow.
How often do you watch game film on your own?
All the time, I will re-watch games from the season or watch film on college and pro players.
What game are you looking forward to the most?
Week 1 @ Pickerington Central
Which road stadium is the best to play in?
Pickerington North, Last year especially because it's a great rivalry and the conference was on the line.
How do you get over a bad game or practice?
I try my best to put it behind me and just focus on how I can fix the mistakes I made.
Do you listen to any podcasts?
I do not.
What was the last book you read along with the author?
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky.
What is your dream job?
It's a long shot, but my dream job is to play in the NFL.
