What are you going to miss the most from the 2025 class?

The simple answer would be a Division One running back. This will be my first year without one at Jackson, but I’m really not worried about that in the slightest. The thing I’ll miss the most from the 2025 class is really just my teammates. There are a bunch of great men from that class.

With this being your final football season, are you preparing any differently?

I’m not changing anything about my preparation for this season. My preparation has always been and will always be to work harder than anyone else. I cannot wait for this season to begin. It’s my last high school season, so I have to go out with a bang.

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

My biggest moment was probably last season when we came back and beat Wheelersburg with just seconds left in the fourth quarter.

What are you most excited for this season?

I’m most excited for just the game itself. Football has been my whole life since I was born, and there is almost nothing I love more than the game of football.

What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

I would say the strongest part of my game is my run blocking. It’s certainly my favorite because I get to use my strength from the weight room in a different way than I would in pass protection.

Turf or grass?

I will take a good grass field over a good turf field any day, but a bad turf is much greater than a bad grass field.

What has been the best road stadium that you have played in?

This might be a hot take, but my personal favorite is Hillsboro just because of how nice the grass is. The ride there isn’t great, but playing on that grass makes up for it.

Where should the state finals be held?

I think state finals are held in the perfect spot. The Pro Football Hall of Fame field is an outstanding place, and it’s certainly my dream to play on it.

Are 16 teams per region too many or just right as far as getting into the playoffs goes?

I’m fine with 16 teams. It feels like everyone gets in, which makes it less of a big deal, but it just means I get to play more football, so I have no problem with that.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense?

As an offensive lineman, I’d much rather be on offense to win the game. With the game on the line, it creates a sense of urgency in me, and I am willing to do whatever to win the game.

After the season, if you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you?

This is a great question that I haven’t put much thought into. I’m still undecided, but if I had to pick, I would say I’m leaning more towards not playing in them just because it’s a risk of injury right before I start college ball.

What made you choose Charlotte?

There were multiple factors that led me to commit to Charlotte. It's something that I had prayed about and just left it to God to tell me where I needed to go, and Charlotte is where I felt led to. The coaching staff is a big part of my commitment. They’ve recruited me since they were at Ohio University, and I just love Coach Rudolph.

What scares you?

I can honestly say I’m not really scared of anything sports-related. Maybe a bad injury, but I’m confident that God has my back and it’s all part of his plan.

Where is the best local spot to grab a pizza?

The best local pizza place is, without a doubt, Cardo's Pizza. It’s the best quality pizza in town!

What is your favorite current song, along with the artist?

Music is one of my favorite things on Earth. Picking a favorite song is really hard for me to do because I love so many genres, but if I had to pick one, my current favorite is probably My Hero by Foo Fighters. My favorite artist of all time is Kanye West. It just doesn’t get any better than his old music.
