What have you done during the off-season to aid you in becoming a better player?
Every single lifting session I’ve put in 110% effort, and I’ve gone to the field at least three times every single week working on my craft.
What do you believe is the strongest part of your game?
The strongest part of my game is how good I am at using my hands when shedding blocks and pass rushing.
Which game are you looking forward to the most?
The Middletown game.
How important is it to you that the team not only gets along on the field but off of it too?
It’s very important because a team has to have a great bond to not only win games but also achieve what this team wants to achieve.
Would you rather lose to your rival and make the playoffs or beat your rival and miss the playoffs?
Rival games are the biggest game, so I’d rather beat them and not make the playoffs, especially if that means they don’t make it either.
What has been your greatest achievement in your football career so far?
Getting my first D1 offer is the biggest achievement I’ve had so far. Knowing all the hard work I put in finally paid off was a great feeling for me.
How do you handle criticism from fans and coaches?
I’ve always resorted to staying quiet and proving haters wrong with my actions rather than my words.
How would you describe your playing style?
Mean, nasty, and gritty. There isn’t anything I loved more in football than just beating the guy across from me so much that they don’t want to line up against me anymore.
What lesson did you learn from last season that you will use to better your game?
The only things I need to worry about are the things I need to control. Just blocking out all the things I can’t control will elevate my game.
What makes you a good teammate?
I’m very vocal and willing to take time to help my teammates improve. I also know what everybody should be doing, so helping my teammates who are unsure of what they're doing takes my leadership to another level.
How do you get over a loss?
Putting on my pads and getting right back after it. You have to have a short memory to play any sport, especially football.
What is the best and worst part of practice?
The best part of practice is no doubt 1st team offense versus 1st team defense. The worst is probably running only if we have ups and downs after.
What is your dream job?
Hopefully the NFL is an option, but if not, then being a manager of my own company would be my dream job.
What scares you?
Injuries, knowing one day that everything can be taken away from me just because I hurt myself.
Who has the best fast food burger?
Wendy’s definitely has the best burger, no doubt.
