Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
We went 2-8, and I led the team in tackles. My favorite memory was winning the VALES trophy at the end of the year.
With this season being your final high school season, are you approaching things any differently? Explain.
Along with lifting more, I am putting a lot more time on the field doing drills than I ever have. Whether it is me and some teammates or just myself, I am always trying to find a way to get on the field and work.
WR/FS/OLB: You are listed as playing each of these positions; which one of those do you feel you are best at?
FS
Of those three positions, which one do you believe is the toughest to play? Explain
FS. It’s because you have to cover and tackle at a high level. If you miss a tackle or let a man behind you, it will almost be a guaranteed touchdown for the other team.
What has been your biggest moment as a football player?
My sophomore year, in my first game starting at safety, I got an interception that swung the momentum in our favor.
In watching some of your Hudl stuff, I see that you also play basketball. How did the basketball season go for you?
The basketball season was alright.
Football or basketball? Which sport do you feel you are best at?
Football
Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids who come and watch you play?
Yes
What does community buy-in mean to you, the team, and the school?
Community buy-in is super important for all sports. When the community comes and supports you and your team, it not only gives you more confidence, it also makes you want to play better as an individual and as a team for everybody who comes and supports the team.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played on?
Keegan Sell, Garfield High School
What is the strongest part of your game?
My football IQ
Which part of your game must you improve to take your game to the next level?
My speed and man coverage skills
How is the recruiting process going for you? Also, could you mention some of the schools you are drawing interest from?
The recruiting process is going well; I have received an offer from Marietta and interest from Muskingum, ONU, and Otterbein.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?
Yes
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
Lifting and fishing
If there were no automobiles or motorcycles, how would you get around?
Bicycle
What is your favorite animal?
Gorilla
