From Bryan

I had a blast during the season. Coming off my sophomore season, which was ended early, was definitely something that couldn’t have come quicker. It's the best playing with all the dudes you grew up with and being there for each other. My favorite memories were definitely made during camp. My class especially built so much chemistry together and made so many good memories.

Who or what got you started playing football?

Honestly, just something that I loved from the first time I played it. I was always a bigger kid than most players, so it definitely made it a lot more fun.

What motivates you to keep playing the game?

I was just proving certain people wrong and wanted to build a legacy for myself. I think football teaches you lessons that nothing else can, and I love the game for it.

With this being your final high school season, are you preparing any differently than you have in the past?

I would say I am preparing the same as I’ve always been. I try to do fieldwork outside of practice 2 times a week and do an extra sprint and jump session on top of our program.

What has been your biggest moment as a football player?

Finding out I made First Team All Conference. I honestly never expected it because I didn’t even start most games on my team, and that dragged down my confidence a lot. I had previous coaches that asked me why I wasn’t playing that much, and I wasn’t really sure. But I trust there was a good reason.

Of all of the wins you have been a part of, which one has meant the most? Explain

I think the game is against Seneca Valley. We had a feeling we were going to be a good team, but I didn’t think we would be winning by 40 the first game. It definitely showed me we could be special.

Which loss has stung the most?

Definitely the game against Upper Saint Claire. That’s our rivalry game, and it’s always a battle. We lost in the last minute or so of the game, and it definitely hurt. But weirdly enough, the next morning during recovery workouts, we were all in good spirits.

What is the strongest part of your game?

I would say my first step was violent hands and knowledge of the game itself.

What is the best part of being a lineman?

Linemen are a whole other brotherhood within the team. It's just the chemistry you have to build that isn't like anything else.

What is the toughest part of being a lineman?

Just the technique involved. People don’t realize how much technique you need to do certain things. I personally think the defensive line especially is so technical.

If you could take one home game and move it to any stadium in the country, where are you playing that game?

I would probably take the Peters Township game and move it to the Big House (Michigan), assuming all the seats are full.

After the season, if you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you?

Never really thought about it. Obviously, it would depend on the situation.

Would you share with everyone some of the schools that are recruiting you?

Mostly Patriot League and Ivy League schools plus Villanova. And then some really good academic D3 schools. And a few D2s.
