Words from Brice
I plan to step up my game this season and work towards POY.
What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
I’ll miss the friendship and the energy.
What have you accomplished during the off-season to help you become a better player?
I run track, so working on sprints and conditioning while still lifting has definitely contributed to me becoming a better football player.
What do you feel the strongest part of your game is?
I feel the strongest part of my game is playing hard every play and keeping the intensity all game.
How do you believe power lifting helps you when it comes to football?
I think it helps the most with keeping my strength, power, and explosiveness throughout the game.
LB/DE/FB, of the three positions, which one do you like playing the best? Explain
I love running back and everything about it, but there is just something about getting around that offensive tackle and making a sack that just gets me wanting more. Although I love all of them, I think I could play any of them at the next level.
LB/DE/FB: of the three positions, which one is the toughest to prepare for? Explain
LB and RB is a lot of mental work; you have to know sets and plays. As for DE, you really have to prepare yourself physically because it’s a dogfight every single play.
What was the highlight of the 2024 season?
I would say the highlight of the whole season was off the field. We didn’t have a great record this year, but in the weight room and on the practice field I could see tremendous progress from all of our players, and I know we will be right back this season and ready to win some games.
What was the lowest moment of the 2024 season?
The lowest moment of the 2025 season was losing to our rival team. That loss always hurts, but this year we had a great game plan, and we were running all over them the whole game, but we just couldn’t get in the end zone like we wanted to.
Looking at only the road games, which stadium is the toughest to play in?
The toughest atmosphere was probably our playoff game against Fairland.
What are your personal goals for the season?
I just want to get more fundamentally sound. I know if I do that it will lead to more big plays for me or my teammates. In addition to that, I’m really looking to stay healthy this season.
What goals are you setting for the team this season?
Definitely going undefeated in our league play, beating our rival, and making a good playoff run. Looking to still be practicing during Thanksgiving.
Who is the one team you enjoy beating more than all others?
Definitely our rival Unioto; that game is always tight, and it always has a fierce atmosphere, so to come out with a win would feel great.
What is a sport you wish you could play but do not have the skill set to?
I feel I have the athleticism to learn to play any sport.
Who are your favorite and least favorite college football teams?
My favorite has to be Ohio State. So it goes hand in hand when I say Michigan is my least favorite.
What is your favorite energy drink?
It has to be C4; I’ll drink one before every lift.
