Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
There were games where I really felt in the zone, reading things before they happened, making plays, and showing what I’m capable of. But the moment that sticks out the most? No doubt the Kenton Ridge game.
We heard all the talk going in. People doubted us. Said we weren’t built for it. Said Kenton Ridge was going to roll over us. That we didn’t have what it takes. We didn’t say much; we just handled business.
What are you going to miss the most from the 2025 class?
What I’ll miss most from the 2025 class are the relationships we’ve built over the years. We’ve been through a lot together, and the bond between the guys is something special; it’s like a family. It’s going to be tough not sharing the field with them next year.
What was the highlight of the 2024 season?
There were a lot of great moments last season, but if I had to pick one highlight that stood out the most, it would be the energy and chemistry that built up as the season went on. We started the year with a lot of people doubting us, trying to figure out our identity, but we grew into something stronger every week.
What are your personal goals for the 2025 season?
I want to elevate every part of my game mentally, physically, and tactically. I’m coming into this season hungrier than ever, with a chip on my shoulder and something to prove. I’ve been putting in the work during the offseason, and now it’s about executing consistently and competing at the highest level.
What goals are you setting for the team?
My goal for the team is to build a new legacy through hard work, teamwork, and a winning mindset. I want us to push each other every day, compete at the highest level, and set a standard that future teams can try to compete with later down the road.
Can the band and cheerleaders get you fired up before and during the game?
I'm always pumped before and during the game, and the band and cheerleaders just take it to another level. Their energy gets the whole team fired up and helps create an atmosphere that pushes us to play our best.
What is the worst part of two-a-days?
The worst part of two-a-days is definitely the mental side of it. Staying focused, disciplined, and pushing through fatigue day after day really tests your mindset more than anything physical.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for?
Without a doubt, Tavien St. Clair from Bellefontaine. That dude is the real deal. He’s got the full package: size, poise, arm strength, and IQ. What stood out the most was how calm he stayed under pressure. Even when we brought heat, he never flinched. He made throws most guys wouldn’t even attempt, and he made them look easy.
Which road stadium has had the best overall atmosphere, and what made it so good?
Graham definitely had the best overall atmosphere. The energy was intense from the moment we arrived; the crowd was loud, and you could feel the rivalry in the air. Games like that bring out the best in us and make it even more exciting to compete.
Which game are you looking forward to the most?
I don’t really have one game I’m looking forward to more than others; the goal is to take it one week at a time and go 1-0 every week. That said, I’ll say week one against Northeastern since they’re the first challenge on our schedule.
I often hear fans say when players are playing in an all-star game, they do not really care if they win or lose. What are your thoughts about playing in all-star games?
Honestly, playing in an all-star game is a goal of mine. Not just for the recognition, but because it means all the work, all the grind, all the late nights and early mornings are being noticed.
For me, it’s not about winning or losing that game. It’s about being there, standing shoulder to shoulder with the best of the best, knowing you earned your spot. It’s a chance to represent your team, your school, your community, and everything you’ve put into the game.
It’s also about soaking in the moment, competing with other top players, and enjoying the experience. That’s something I’d be proud of. Just getting that invite would mean everything.
What makes you a good teammate?
What makes me a good teammate is the grit and passion I bring every day. I truly love the game and give everything I have. I hold myself and others to a high standard, always pushing my teammates to stay locked in and give their best. It’s about competing with heart and making sure everyone is doing their part to help the team succeed.
Would you share with everyone how the recruiting process is going and let everyone know a team or two that has expressed interest in you?
I'm excited to share that the recruiting process has been going well so far. I've been in contact with several programs, and it's been great getting to learn more about what each school has to offer. I'm grateful to have received offers from both Marietta College and Gannon University, and I’m looking forward to continuing the process and finding the best fit for my future both academically and athletically.
What is your go-to snack?
It’s got to be a protein bar. Whether it’s pre-practice, post-game, or just in between meals, it gives me the energy and recovery I need without weighing me down.
What song gets you fired up right before you take the field?
"First Day Out" by Tee Grizzley, no question.
The energy in that song is unmatched. From the first line, it hits different. It reminds me of everything I’ve worked for, everything I’ve been through, and everything I’m about to prove.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Luke Kuechly, without a doubt.
The way he played the game. All heart, all grit, all intelligence—it was different. He wasn’t just physically dominant; he was one of the smartest players to ever step on the field. Watching him diagnose plays before they even happened, flying sideline to sideline, and leading by example—that’s the kind of player I look up to.
