Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.

Good memory I’ll say my first time playing kicker, I was able to score for our team to be city champions again in Beechcroft.

With this coming season being your senior season, are you preparing differently than you have in the past? Explain

Yes, definitely things are about to change because last year was my first year playing for Northland, so it wasn’t really a big season for me; it was more of a challenge I had to go through, and I definitely passed it. I’m ready for the next one coming up, ready to be coachable, and ready to get better.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Northland High School?

You get a lot of opportunities and great connections with teachers, coaches, and students. You get to meet great people that push you to be a better person off the field and on.

What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete?

Being able to play 3 positions was a bit of a stress, but practice makes better, so it became easier during the season.

Running back or linebacker, which one do you feel you are better at?

Running back I will say, because this is what I love to do, for me, running is one of the most important pieces on the team. I am also dedicated to this position. I also love linebacker because defense wins games, and I get to hit people without being punished, lol.

In watching some of your Hudl package, I noticed you have a very quick first step. How are you able to get such a quick start?

Working on my footwork a lot. I started playing soccer since I was a kid, so I just had to mix them with the flow with football.

What are your personal goals for the season?

Running back 1st or 2nd team all-city makes my team a championship team.

How do you get over a bad game?

Praying, give it to God. Watch my film and ask Coach what I could do to fix the things I did wrong and work on it so those mistakes happen again.

What makes you a good teammate?

I really love playing around with everybody. Honestly, I think my teammates can come up to me when they have a lack somewhere or are stuck on something and always get serious when it’s practice time because that’s how we get better as a team .

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

Honestly, nobody really did anything during the season that really made me think or say he was the best, but the team we struggled with was Walnut Ridge.

What was the high mark of the 2024 season?

Honestly, I made my team city champions again.

Why should your number be called when the game is on the line?

I’ll go 110% on every play.

After the season is over, if you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you?

Of course.

What scares you?

Injuries for my last season will be the worst.

Who are your role models?

Jesus, my family and my team are the ones pushing me harder to get better every day.

If your coaching staff had an MMA battle, who would win?

I’ll say, Coach Cunn
