What has been the highlight of your high school football career so far?
Probably winning every game I’ve started, mostly by game-winning drives and blowing opponents out, and having fun with my teammates.
Which game are you looking forward to the most this season? Explain
One game that I’m looking forward to is the game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Our opponent is unknown, but we are prepared to go out there and put on a show for everyone in attendance.
What makes playing for the Noblesville Lions so special?
Just the brotherhood and the people you meet; it’s nothing like anything I’ve ever felt before, and I truly couldn’t have made a better decision coming out and playing for them this season.
What is the toughest part of being a high school student-athlete?
I would say less time on my hands, which can be a good thing at times, but sometimes it can be tiring.
With this being your senior season, are you preparing any differently than you have in the past? Explain
I’ve taken this off-season very seriously since this is my senior year, training every weekend, working on my craft, and trying to become the next big name. I have a lot of motivation.
What is the strongest part of your game?
I would say my ability to extend plays outside of the pocket and make the big play happen when needed.
What part of your game are you hoping to improve on the most before the start of the season?
One thing that I am improving on is standing tall in the pocket and not letting the pressure get to me.
Turf or grass?
Turf 1000%
What is your favorite weather to play in?
Probably 75° sunny with a slight breeze.
What type of defense do you, as the quarterback, love to face the most? Explain
Probably cover 2 because on the outside, if you put your X receiver or Z receiver on a fade/go, you have a slight crease in the defense between the cornerback and the safety that you can throw to, and it works almost 95% of the time, and it’s pretty simple to read.
What are your personal goals for the season?
Go undefeated in the regular season, go down to Florida, and win the national championship, and also have fun with my brothers on the team.
What goals are you setting for your team?
Just to give 100% every single play and dominate the line of scrimmage.
What is your favorite class or subject?
Probably English; it’s very simple for me.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Tom Brady, I grew up watching him lead comebacks in the fourth quarter, and just watching the way he played the game with such passion made me fall in love with it.
What scares you?
Definitely letting my teammates down in situations, but also the fear of regret; I have so much to play for this season. It really is just more than a football season for me.
