How long have you played basketball, and who or what got you started?
I started playing basketball at the YMCA at 4 years old. I was always around basketball. Watching my dad and his friends play in leagues and Gus Macker tournaments.
What were your goals heading into the 2024-2025 season?
Earn a spot as a varsity starter. Win the Mid State League. Win a District Championship. Earn All-League honors. Enjoy the one season that I get to share the court with my sisters Charli and Layni (twin).
Of the goals you set, which ones did you achieve?
All of them.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
Probably my shooting ability or just my overall ability to score from multiple levels.
Which part of your game are you hoping to improve before the new season gets here?
Definitely my on-ball defense.
What was the best part of the 2024-2025 season?
Winning the District Championship with my teammates, but especially sharing that experience with my sisters.
What was the toughest part of the 2024-2025 season?
Definitely the end, just knowing that I will not get to play with our seniors (Sydney and my sister Charli) again.
Which win during the season meant the most? Explain.
Probably beating our rival FCA in their gym. I feel like that was sort of a turning point for our team. We played at a different level, and it was definitely a statement win for our team.
Which loss hurt the most? Explain.
Our loss at Crooksville. I felt like I didn’t play as well as I could. We didn’t play well as a team. Just a lot of frustration and regret after that one.
What is the best part of playing and attending Lancaster Fisher Catholic?
Playing with my siblings and the quality of education are definitely huge perks.
What is the toughest part of attending and playing for Lancaster Fisher Catholic?
I would say the toughest part is just the small size of both our school and team. Enrollment at the school is low, which means smaller class sizes, and that can be a plus, but it also means lower numbers for teams, clubs, etc. Many athletes are multi-sport athletes who are also involved in other clubs and school activities.
What one moment from this season sticks out the most?
That’s tough. Probably either watching my mom (athletic director) award my sisters their medals after we won the district championship at Ohio Dominican or the senior walk after the last home game at Fisher Catholic.
What do you think needs to be done to get bigger crowds at the games?
From a scheduling aspect, either having boys and girls play opposite nights to avoid a conflict or possibly having double headers with boys and girls playing after one another. From a school/team aspect, win games and play a tough schedule with matchups that people want to go out and watch.
What is your favorite type of music?
R&B or Hip Hop
What is your favorite class or subject?
Biology.
What is a talent or skill you have that might shock those around you?
I played tackle football for 4 years, including in junior high.
