What were your feelings as you walked off of the field for the last time as a member of the Bethel Tate football team?

It’s a feeling that I have never felt in my life, and it’s very hard to describe. You never really truly know how fast the time flies until you take that last breath and step over that line for the last time.

What will you miss the most from playing high school football?

Being able to go out there and not just have your family and friends behind you but a whole town that has seen you grow up and become the young man out there on the field. When you become one of the best, everyone knows you and expects you to make those big plays, and when you do, nothing can describe how it feels to see a whole town and school cheer you on and chant your name. I will truly miss it the most.

What is your biggest memory from playing high school football?

Becoming brothers with my teammates and all of the time we spent together on and off the field.

Who was the best player that you ever faced in a game, along with the team he played on?

Donte Ferrell from Woodward High School

Which win during your high school career meant the most? Explain?

We were 5-4 and beat our undefeated 9-0 rivals of Williamsburg High School my junior year in order to punch a ticket to the playoffs. I played the game of my life with 6 sacks and 9 tackles.

Which loss stung the most?

We lost to them this past season, and we missed our chance to go to the playoffs and ended 5-5.

What was the biggest lesson that you learned from playing football that you can use later in life off of the field?

To give 110% effort in everything you do, no matter what.

What was your favorite and least favorite part of practice?

Competing against my friends and making one another better players.

Long-distance running and conditioning.

What was your personal biggest moment on the football field?

Having 6 sacks and 8 tackles against our very good rivals my junior year.

What was your most embarrassing moment on the football field?

Getting pancaked by one of my very good and close friends from another rival school.

What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting process?

Being able to reach out and visit and build relationships with coaching staffs while touring some beautiful campuses from all over.

Having to choose which school is the best fit for you, and if it’s a school far away, then you sacrifice being able to come home sometimes.

Can you name some of the schools you have heard from, along with any offers you have?

Morehead St., Lake Erie College, UC, and Wittenberg, to name a few.

Lake Erie College and Wittenberg are the most recent.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you?

Absolutely, if it gives me a chance to put my name out there, then I will do it.

What scares you?

Not knowing which path will 100% lead to your goals, so you have to just trust God and never stop working and moving up, no matter where you go.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

I am a huge fishing guy, and I also love video games and working out as much as I can.

What is the one sport that you cannot watch on TV?

Soccer? It’s way too boring for me.
