(Basketball) McClain 78 Blanchester 41
McClain 78 Blanchester 41
McClain improves to (4-3) with their win over Blanchester, who falls to (1-7). The outcome was shown after one quarter when McClain leaped out to the 26-11 lead. Right from the start it was also apparent that McClain had the two best players on the court. Zane Adams (31 points), Owen Skyes (22 points). Admas would hit 7 three-pointers for the game, while Sykes did all of his damage inside the arc. Jordan Bell would add 11 points on the day, including one three-pointer.
Blanchester would get 11 points from sophomore Braydon Behymer. Scoring six apiece were Junior Caleb Johnson and Senior Bryce Burress. For the game, Blanchester would hit five threes, with Behymer hitting three of those.
One of the things that stood out in this game was Blanchester seeming to try and do everything the coaching staff was asking them to do, and though the game was never close, those young men never quit, and the coaching staff always seemed to stay positive and coach the team until the clock read all zeroes.
