(Basketball) Hillsboro 70 Adena 20
*Using records from Maxpreps*
Heading into this game, talk in the stands was that the game was going to be ugly quick, and the Hillsboro Indians had two special players who both were basketball fast. When all was said and done, the talk was spot on. The Indians came in, according to MaxPreps, on a two-game winning streak, with a 4-3 record overall. Adena came in with a 1-11 record, with the win coming over Westfall.
The Indians jumped out to a 27-9 lead and never looked back. After the half, the score was 48-13. Both Jack Howard (30 points) and Brayden Hunter (22 points) showed that the fans in the stands knew what they were talking about. Howard would hit five three-point baskets, while Hunter hit two three-pointers.
In the 2nd half, the scoring was 22-7 in favor of the Indians. Joe Francis and Christian Heath led Adena with six each.
