(Basketball) Fredericktown extends winning streak to nine games with 65-57 win over Centerburg

Fredricktown came in on an eight-game winning streak, supporting an 8-2 record. The Trojans came in 6-4, hoping to defend their home court. The Freddies would jump out to the 11-0 lead and were never really threatened. The Trojan would use a big fourth quarter to make the final score look close, as they never stopped giving a maximum effort.

The Trojan's would total zero three-pointers on the day, while the Freddies connected six times from three-point land. I had the visitors hitting 14 free throws, while the home team hit nine.

Jack Lawrence had a game-high 29 in the loss. He would get help from Trevin Harris, 13 points. The high scorer for the Freddies was Carson Reinhart, with 20 points. His top help came from Zane Luckmeier (14 points) and Gavin Tooms (13 points), including a two-handed jam.
