What was the highest point of the 2024 season?

The highest point in the season was when we were 3-1; I felt on top of the world.

What was the lowest point of the 2024 season?

The lowest point in the season was probably when we dropped 3 in a row. It was a little disheartening, but we pushed through it.

Who was the best player that you faced in a game during the 2024 season, along with the team he played for?

Brock Coffman, that kid's just different. He and his whole team from Sayre are a different animal.

What did you learn about yourself during the season that you can use to be a better player and teammate during the 2025 season?

I learned that if I just trust my teammates and my coaches, then it all works out. If Coach Caudill tells us what play they’re about to run, it’s probably coming at us.

What makes you a good teammate?

I would do anything for anyone on my team.

Who was the toughest teammate to square up against during practice?

It’s between Kaden Sparks and Wyatt Bowen. Kaden is so strong he’ll put you in the dirt if you aren’t putting up everything you have, and Wyatt just has the motor to make plays.

Just focusing on the road games you played during the 2024 season, which stadium was the worse to play in, and why was it so bad?

Nicholas County, you don’t go into Nicholas County and have an easy game. They have everyone supporting them up there.

Fairview had a nice improvement this season. What all do you believe helped you guys start to turn things around?

Like I said earlier, we started to trust the coaches and buy into what they were having us do. We bought into the weight room, and whatever they said in the field goes.

You guys were able to make the playoffs, losing to Sayre, who won the state title. What did you learn from that experience?

When we played Sayre, we saw what a real football team is. We learned that once we’re in the weight room for 4 years like they have been, bought into what our coaches say, and just play as one unit, we have the potential to be just as good as them.

When do you start preparing for the 2025 season?

We started lifting and talking about our plans for next season the Monday after we played the Sayre game.

What are you hoping to improve on the most before the start of the 2025 season?

I want to be faster and more agile. I want to be a real playmaker for the team.

Who are your role models?

On the team, my role models were Xavien Kouns and Kaden Sparks. They both just work their tails off and do whatever is asked of them.

What is your favorite sports movie?

Varsity Blues.

What is a skill or talent that you have that might shock your friends?

I can play the guitar.
