What will I miss most from the 2026 class?
I will miss the guys from the 2025 class; I feel like I grew pretty close with some of the players ahead of me. It will suck to see them leave, but it gets me excited for the new year to come.
Best part of the 2024 season?
Easily the best part of the 2024 season was winning the OCC title and beating our rival Pickerington North. It was so awesome to chase down Coach Ward and dump water on his head for the win. That’s a hilarious memory I’ll keep for a long time.
Toughest part of the 2024 season?
The toughest part of the 2024 season was the pressure to perform and the kind of rough start we had at the beginning of the year.
What surprised me most about the 2024 season?
How we rebounded from a rough start was very special.
What part of my game improved most in 2024?
I improved my ability to lead and make everyone around me better, and not just myself. I think I can work on my punch and the angles in which I set in pass pro, and I can always improve on pass pro.
What makes me a good teammate?
I think I can really connect to guys, no matter how much they play or their role. I think it’s frankly a bad thing when the top players on the team decide to not talk to or act higher than their teammates exclusively due to playing time and social status. That’s messed up.
What makes you a good leader?
I have the balance between being hard on people but also lifting people up. You can’t give too much of one or the other, or it won’t be effective. But if I’m being honest, leadership is something I’m wanting to improve on to help my team succeed.
Who was the best player I went up against this season?
That’s a great question. I would say the Olentangy defensive end. He’s got great size at 6’5 280 and was powerful, he was a good player, he will surely have a good recruiting process.
The best team I went against?
Olentangy Liberty, they were very good as a whole. They won the state title and kicked our butts; granted, it was a rough night for us, and I think it could have gone differently. However, they won the state title for a reason: great team.
How’s your recruiting season going?
It’s going very well. I’ll be honest; it’s a little stressful to deal with all at once. I currently hold offers from Akron, Eastern Michigan, Old Dominion, and UTEP. I believe that list will grow, and I’m working hard to get better every day.
What schools am I hearing from?
The schools I’ve been offered by I’m hearing from. I’m also hearing from Miami of Ohio, Ohio University, Buffalo, and Cincinnati.
What is my go-to snack?
My go-to snack is probably beef jerky or beef sticks. But I also like some Cheez-Its and hot sauce; seriously recommend.
What is your current favorite TV show?
I don’t know about current, however, Breaking Bad is the only answer. Great show.
Outside of sports, what do I do?
I like to travel and go outdoors. It’s really fun to go camping and to be in nature. I also like playing video games and such, hanging out with the people around me as well.
