What was the best part of the 2024 football season?

Getting to play the game I love and representing my school with my teammates.

What was the toughest part of the 2024 football season?

Losing 6 games, we had a lot of injuries and lost more games than we should have.

Of all of the wins, which wins meant the most? Explain

As a team, Shadyside, we lost to them in the regular season and then beat them in the playoffs. Individually, in the game against the Symmes Valley, I had 14 tackles, 2 sacks, blocked a punt, and made the tackle on 4th down to seal the game.

Of the losses, which one stung the most? Explain?

Danville beat us badly, and it was my last game of high school football.

What were your feelings as you walked off of the field for the last time as a high school football player?

Heartbroken, hard to believe it was over. I reflected on my career.

The last time we interviewed, you had said you would play in any of the All-Star games. Have you received any invites yet?

No

What is your number one memory from playing high school football?

The friendships through the years

What are you going to miss the most about playing high school football?

Sacking the opposing QB

What do you feel was the biggest highlight of your high school career?

Having 5 sacks vs. Berne Union my junior year

What made you a good teammate?

My leadership on and off the field, I led by example on the field and in the weight room.

What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting process?

The best part is meeting new coaches; the worst part is not being recruited enough.

The last time we interviewed, you had said that you had heard from Capitol University and Kentucky Christian University had reached out. Could you update us on the schools you have heard from, along with any offers?

I have an offer from Heidelberg.

What scares you?

Spiders

Who are your role models?

On the field, Trey Hendrickson; off the field, my dad.

What is a hobby or skill that you have that others might be shocked by?

I’m good at pickleball.
