What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
I will miss the seniors and the bond we had, because we all grew up together in the backyard just throwing around the football, so it’s definitely a bummer not being able to have one last ride with them.
What was the best part of the 2024 season?
Seeing how we affected the community by winning games and having the best season in 20 years. It was just awesome seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces when we scored or, after the game, seeing everyone happy.
What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?
Losing was always the worst part. I hate losing with all my heart and just how much pride I take in getting better after a loss to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
What did you learn about yourself this season that you will use to be not only a better player in 2025 but also a better leader?
I learned that being the quarterback is all about getting a group of guys to go to war for you, then after the game, go hang out and relax. But developing a bond with everyone is what I want to do; also, another part is when we’re losing or down, I gotta be the guy they look for to make a play or say something to get them ready to go.
Which win meant the most to you this season?
Beating Reynoldsburg was such a surreal feeling and experience. Beating a good team that was in our league at their place and on their senior night was so special. And just knowing that this program hasn’t seen a win like that in a long time
Which loss hurt the worst?
Losing to Upper Arlington in the playoffs, knowing that was the last time with the guys I grew up with and also how close the game was and knowing I gave it my all and not coming out with the win hurt a lot.
What do you believe led to the big turnaround the Wildcats experienced this season?
Our demeanor. We were tired of losing over and over again, so we all got together, talked, and said we were just simply done losing so early after the season ended the year before. We got to work, and the work paid off.
Which part of your game must you improve to be a more dominant player in 2025?
Running the football and making plays with my feet
making simple plays that will lead to big plays
What part of your game do you believe is the most solid?
My deep ball accuracy
My ability to extend plays
Reading the defense
Up to this moment, what has been the biggest moment in sports?
In my entire life, the biggest moment I had was with the game on the line; I threw a 50-yard touchdown in the last drive to secure the game vs. Reynoldsburg.
You play three sports. Would you let the readers know which sports you play?
I play football, obviously, but I also play basketball and baseball, and I am all OCC and District in baseball, and for basketball I am a role guy for a historically good high school that is also back-to-back district champs.
Of the three sports, which one do you believe you are the best at?
Football
What is your go-to snack?
Beef Jerky
What is your favorite type of music?
Rap or Dad music
What is your favorite class or subject?
Favorite is math.
