What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?

I felt great sadness and some anger.

What will you miss the most from playing high school football?

Getting to make all the memories with all my teammates, friends, and coaches

What was the highlight of your high school football career?

Our win against Portsmouth this year with 0 seconds left on the clock and a 2-point conversion to go up by 1.

Who was the best player that you ever faced in a game, along with the team he played on?

Shaun Terry, Ironton.

Who was the best team that you faced during your high school career, along with the things that made them so good?

Ironton, they just have so much talent and depth it’s hard to compete with.

How is the recruiting process going?

The recruiting process is going well. I have received offers from Rio Grande, Heidelberg, Upike, McPherson, and Bluffton.

The last time we interviewed, these teams had shown interest in you: Rio Grande, Davidson, Heidelberg, Kentucky Wesleyan, Morehead, and Tiffin. Has any of them been offered?

Yes, Rio Grande and Heidelberg have offered, and I’ve been talking to coaches from Tiffin and Morehead.

Have you heard from any other teams since we last spoke?

Yes, Bluffton, Upike, and McPherson

Which of the all-star games are you hoping to be invited to?

The Ohio north-south game is the main one.

When we spoke late, these were two goals that you listed for the 2024 season: I want to top my tackles from last year and my rushing yards. Did you achieve those goals?

I fell short on making the same amount of tackles by 20 and was short 100 yards on rushing, but I was limited for a few games coming off of shoulder surgery this summer.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from playing football?

I learned that you have to be disciplined to see results.

Which part of your game must you improve on before moving onto college ball?

I believe I need to improve my speed, which I have already begun working on.

What are you thinking of studying in college?

I am leaning towards engineering but will probably enter undecided just so I can explore my options.

What is your current favorite TV show?

Outer banks

What is a skill or talent that you have that would surprise those who know you?

I have an interest in maintaining classic cars and have gotten good at detailing cars.
