What was the biggest adjustment going from Watkins to Pickerington Central?

The comp level, everyone wants to be the best, so it pushes the team to perform for each other.

What were your feelings as you walked off of the field for the last time as a high school football player?

This is so unreal; I didn’t know what to do next, and I had to really key in on what my future looked like.

What will you miss the most from playing high school football?

Friday night’s under the lights with my brothers, that bond that we have formed is unbreakable, and I'm going to miss them.

What was the highlight of the 2024 season?

When we got into a rhythm and started staking wins consistently

What was the most disappointing part of the 2024 season?

Losing to North in the fashion that we did

What shocked you the most from the 2024 season?

How well our team performed when everyone was against us

Looking back at all of the games that you played during your high school football career, which one sticks out the most? Explain

In my junior year vs. Johnstown, I had 3 TDs and 100 yards in the first half, and I got to cheer on our young guys and coach them up so that they could succeed.

Now that the high school portion of your football career is over, what do you wish you would have done differently?

I regret nothing that I did, and I’m glad that it played out this way because if you keep thinking about what you could’ve done better, then you will be stuck in your past and never move on from that shortcoming. Failing is inevitable, so you just gotta adapt to it. I wish I had learned that sooner in my career.

What makes you a good teammate?

My leadership and just my willingness to do what it takes for the team to succeed.

What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting process?

The best part has been getting to meet new coaches and really see how I measure up to athletes at the next level. The worst is probably how slow my recruitment has been; I’m sure it will pick up, but it’s a waiting game, and you have to be patient with it.

Would you name some of the schools that are recruiting you?

ODU, Wittenburg, Mercyhurst, Capital, Marietta

If you earn an invite to any of the all-star games, will you play in them? Explaining?

Yes, I definitely would because this is my real last chance to go out on a field on a Friday and get that sense of home again. I love that feeling and would trade anything for it, so yes, I would for sure be willing to do that.

Who are your favorite and least favorite college football teams?

I'm an OSU fan; I don’t like Georgia.

What is one sport you cannot watch on TV?

Baseball

Who are your role models?

My brother John and my dad
