What mark do you believe that your class left on the East Hardy football program?
The amount of work we’ve put in over the summer is 80% of our graduating class that showed up and put in the work.
What were your feelings/emotions as you walked off of the field for the last time as a high school football player?
It’s never a fun feeling leaving a life you knew in high school and what you worked so hard for, but when one door closes, another opens.
What was the highlight of your high school football career?
Playing with the upperclassmen the last few years, they set it apart for us, and we learned a lot, and the practices
What was the most disappointing part of your high school football career?
Definitely our season this year we had the cards in front of us, and we took it for granted, and now we are reaping the benefits for the lack of attention and other things.
Who was the toughest team that you faced during your high school career, along with the things that made them so good?
The toughest team was Williamstown. All 3 years we played them in the state playoffs, they were great with their craft, had good athletes, and had great coaching.
Who was the best player you ever faced in a game, along with the team he played for?
Maxwell Mollessa is now a true freshman baseball player at WVU; that sums it up: dude was a straight dog.
Looking at only the road stadiums you played in, which was the best to play in as far as atmosphere went?
I’d say tucker county is the hardest road stadium
What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?
Walking away from my guys, I grew up in a football aspect of our lives; it went too fast, and the sport has given me a lot, but I have college next year.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you? Explain
I was sadly not selected by any all-star team.
What do you wish you would have done differently as a high school football player?
I wish I would’ve taken it a lot more seriously my first 2 years of high school; I feel like I would be more developed as a player.
What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting process?
The worst part is the season when you see people on Twitter getting offers, and you watch every day with no communication, but the best is how much love the coaches show to you and getting an offer.
Could you name some of the schools that you are hearing from?
Bethany, Bridgewater, Fairmont St., Glenville St.
What is your favorite current TV show?
My current favorite TV show is All American.
Who are your role models?
My role models are my amazing mother and my great-grandfather.
What was the last book you read, along with the author?
In college English, we read short stories all the time and break them down. I usually don’t have a lot of time to read.
