What will you miss from the class of 2025?

As part of the Class of 2027, getting the chance to play with the Class of 2025 and winning a state championship alongside them was something I’ll never forget. Those seniors taught me what it meant to be a part of a brotherhood. They were more than just teammates; they were like older siblings who showed us how to carry ourselves, how to handle adversity, and how to believe in the process.
During that championship run, their leadership was unreal. Whether it was in practice, hyping us up in the locker room, or staying calm in those high-pressure moments, they set the tone for all of us. They made us feel like we belonged and gave us the confidence to step up when it mattered most.

What was it like playing at Tom Benson Stadium?

Playing at Tom Benson Stadium was crazy. The lights, the crowd, and just how big it all felt—it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. As soon as we walked in, you could feel how special it was. Winning there made it even better. It wasn’t just about the stadium; it was about everything coming together on the biggest stage. That’s a feeling I’ll never forget.

What were you feeling when you lined up for that first snap in the state championship game?

Lining up for my first play, I was very excited and nervous, but after the ball was snapped, it was just football, and the nerves were gone.

When the clock struck zero and Liberty had officially won the state final, what were your first thoughts?

It took a few minutes to actually realize what we just did, but it's hard to describe the feeling. It's like all the hard work paid off, and we were all so grateful to have been put in our position.

What was the toughest part in playing so many games this football season?

The toughest part of playing so many games this football season was keeping my body and mind ready week after week. You really have to take advantage of the little free time you get during the season to let your body recover.

What did you learn about yourself this season that you can use to be a better player in 2025?

I’ve learned that confidence in myself and my preparation has been key for me. I know now that I can handle adversity and still perform at a high level, so I’ll focus on being a leader on and off the field.

Who was the best player that you faced this season in a game?

We've faced many different talented players all year. It was hard for me to pick one.

How do you see winning the state title helping the football program in the near future?

Winning the state title is huge for the football program because it sets a standard for success and creates momentum for the future.

What part of your game are you hoping to improve on before the 2025 season starts?

I'm working to improve my speed and ability to make quick cuts. And I'm always working to get stronger in the weight room.

What will it take for Liberty to make it back to the state final game in 2025?

It starts now; we need to work extremely hard this offseason to get the opportunity we did this year.

What shocked you about this season, if anything?

Nothing shocked me this season. I was confident in the team we had, and I knew we would go far.

Will you continue to play all three sports (baseball, basketball, and football)?

This winter I will not be playing basketball to focus on the other 2 in the off-season.

What is your go-to snack?

 Gummy bears

What is your current TV show?

Dexter
