What are you going to miss the most from playing high school football?
My coaches and teammates
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a member of the Winton Woods football team?
Sadness, of course, from losing, but unexpectedly I felt contentment from finally knowing I am finished with a chapter in my life, and I will be moving on to another chapter.
What mark do you feel your class left on the football program?
I believe the mark we made was that we were one of the best ever classes and a class known to have one of the best defenses in school history.
What was the highlight of your football career?
My entire senior year. It was a blur, but in the most enjoyable way. Every game felt so impactful and so important, but they also went by incredibly fast.
What was the most disappointing part of your football career?
I would say my junior year when I was injured for the most part of the season and I couldn’t play to the best of my abilities.
What was the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing high school football?
That nothing is granted and everything you work for isn’t, but as long as you are dedicated and consistent, many things will go your way.
Of all of the road games that you played in, which stadium was the best to have played in?
In my opinion, I would say Anderson was the best stadium; their fans were really dedicated to their team.
Of all of the road stadiums, which was the worse stadium to play in? Explain
Little Miami was the worst by far, but that was due to weather conditions that day.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you? Explain
I will, It won’t hurt to suit up one last time before college.
Now that it is over, your high school football career, what would you have done differently?
I would have definitely liked to work out more in my freshman and sophomore years.
What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting process?
The best part is having options; the worst is deciding what options are the best for you.
Would you name some of the schools that are recruiting you?
Cornell, Thomas Moore, Mercyhurst, Central State, Charleston, Wheeling, Fairmont, Tuluscum, and West Virginia State University
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Shrimp Alfredo
Who is your favorite athlete?
LeBron James
What is a talent or skill that you have that might shock those who know you?
I can do a kick-up.
