Starting with that first week of practice, what were your personal goals?

My biggest personal goal was to fill the shoes of the guy in front of me. He had a great senior year, and my goal is to play like there is no next week and help lead the team to lots of wins.

From practice number one heading into the 2025 season to the last one before game one, what did you learn about your team?

I learned that we have what it takes to win and make a push to some of our harder competitors, but we just have to put it all together and fix some of the mental mistakes.

In the last three weeks, you guys have won two of three. What must you guys do better in the 2nd half to finish the season strong and set yourself up for the playoffs?

Offense has definitely started moving the ball how we should and doing what we need. Last week we just had nearly 700 yards of offense, and we just need to keep bringing the intensity and play clean, disciplined football.

Through the first five weeks, which team do you think has been the best that you have faced this season, along with what made them so good?

I would definitely say it’s between Gilmore and North Ridgeville. They are both very aggressive teams, along with physical. North Ridgeville can really run the ball while Gilmore has no problem airing it out.

Who has been the best player that you have faced this season, along with the team that he played for?

I would say the TE Brody Lennon from Gilmore.

Which game of the five remaining are you looking the most forward to, along with the reason why?

I would say this upcoming game against Buckeye. We played a good game against them last year, delivering their first loss of the season, and we want to show that it wasn’t a fluke.

What lessons have you learned through the first five weeks of the season, and how will you incorporate them into helping the team finish strong?

I would say that the more you look out for each other and play for the guy next to you, the more you will succeed. Help each other out, and all the pieces start coming together.

What has been the highlight of the first half of the season?

The highlight would be how we came back after a rough first couple weeks, and now we got our offense rolling. All starting up with the Garfield game, where I had a great start to the game but unfortunately went down midway through the second quarter.

What has been the most shocking part of the first half of the season?

I would say the way we lost to Rocky River. It was very unlike us, and we didn’t play 4 quarters. We 100% learned from that after the way we came out and sealed it against Westlake.

What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite class is statistics because I have always had an interest in math.

Where is the go-to local spot to grab a meal?

My go-to spot to grab a meal is Chick-fil-La.

Who are your role models?

My mom is one of my biggest role models. She has pushed me and supported me since a young age. No matter how crazy or out of reach my dreams were, she was there backing me up. Not only this, but she is the hardest worker I know; she would do anything for me and my brother to get to where we want to go.
