How long have you played football, and what are the reasons you continue to play?
I’ve been playing football for 9 years, and the reason I still play is because the love I have for the sport is still there. You can’t cheat football; it takes hard work and dedication to be successful in the sport.
Would you rather play your rival to open the season or to close it? Explain
I’d rather close the season against our rival because it would be a great game to have going into the playoffs, and if your team won, that's a lot of momentum you can have going into the real season, which is the playoffs.
Coming off a season that saw you have 103 tackles, what are your personal goals for the 2024 season?
Yes, my personal goals are to improve my tackles per game and be a consistent and efficient linebacker. I also want to win the WTOV9 DPOY.
What goals are you setting for the team this season?
The goals for the team I’m setting are improving as individuals and as a team each game and working to make a deep run like last year, but with a different outcome.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for?
I’d say the QB from Sheridan in the Regional Championship was big, strong, fast, could throw really well, and was not afraid to throw in tight windows.
What is the most challenging part of a Stubenville practice?
conditioning and being able to stay consistent and disciplined throughout the whole practice.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
On defense, I am quick but still have the pop to be a linebacker, and I can also cover like a DB. While on offense, I’m a hybrid player; I can play anywhere.
What have you been able to do during the off-season to improve your game?
I have been working on speed and footwork to become more elusive.
Where should the state finals be held?
Hall of Fame Stadium or Ohio State Stadium are both amazing, and I would love to play at either one.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play?
For sure, I would love to.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
I am a disciplined and hard-working player who can be okay anywhere on the field.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Fred Warner
Who are your role models?
Mom
Brother
Dad
What is the one food that you will not eat?
Chitlins
