Which QB college or pro do you try and take from their game and put into yours?

I just try to be my own type of player.

What will you miss the most from your teammates who graduated this year?

The friendships we had.

What is the toughest aspect of being a high school student athlete?

Not getting many breaks throughout the season.

What is your favorite part of practice?

lifting in the morning.

What is the toughest part of an Edon High School practice?

Sprints.

You're behind by five, with enough time to run play from your opponent's five-yard line. What play are you calling?

Some sort of rub route with the slot receivers.

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

Beating Waynesfield-Goshen during last year’s playoffs.
 
This is probably a dumb fan question, but what is a quarterback's thought process when throwing into double coverage?

I'm just hoping that your receiver can come down with it or that it’s not picked off.

Who is the toughest teammate to throw against in practice?

Briggs Gallehue because he’s huge and has good hands.

Can you name any colleges that you are hearing from?

Don’t plan on going to college.

What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

Ability to escape pressure and extend the play.

Would you rather play your rival to kick off the season or to end it? Explain

Beginning. Sets the tone for the rest of the season.

Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?

Snowboard, lift, and hang out with friends.

What is your go-to snack?

Cookies and milk .

What scares you?

Snakes.

  Braylon Sturgill Ironton High School LB/FB 2025 What were your goals entering the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals? Our goal every year is simple: win a state championship. We fell short last season, but we are coming back stronger. My personal goals were to be a full-time starter and contribute to my team's success.
