You play both football and baseball for Granville. How long have you played each sport, along with the reasons you continue to play?

I’ve been playing baseball since I was 4 and started football right when I was able to in the 3rd grade. My dad is the main drive for me in these sports; he has played them since he was a kid, and he is my role model, and I look up to him.

Of the two sports, which one do you feel you are better at?

I evolved best in football, making the best progress over the years. Baseball used to be my best sport until I was involved in a firework accident that worsened my vision.

Who has been the best player you have ever faced on the diamond, as well as the best player you have faced on the field, along with the teams they played on?

The best player I’ve faced on the diamond, I think, would be the pitcher who pitched against us in the playoffs. He never had an off inning, and he was always locked in. We’ve played Tavien St. Clair the past two years, and he lives up to his expectations.

With Hudl being a part of what college coaches use to see players, how often do you update your page?

I haven’t really gotten around to it, although I do hear a lot of people swear by it.

What is the strongest part of your game?

I feel the strongest part of my game, both in baseball and football, is the confidence and energy that I bring.

Which part of your game are you hoping to improve on before the season starts, so you can be a better overall player?

I want to be more of a physical backer, something I think I slacked a lot on last year.

Can you share with us some of the camps you have attended, as well as the most important things you have been able to learn?

My school hosted a showcase, and I’ve had great insight from coaches about what they are looking for in a player.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I feel that I am very coachable, and I always stay in the gym.

If you are hearing from colleges, would you name a few of them?

I just recently went on a visit to Marietta. It was an awesome experience and definitely a great college and football program.

What are your goals for the upcoming football season?

I would love to end it by at least winning the regional, but I feel like we have the chance to go all the way.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

My biggest moment was when I had a big pick against Tri-Valley in the playoffs last year.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play in them?

If I get the chance to play in the all-star game, I’ll be there for sure.

Have you ever gone to a Dension baseball or football game?

I’ve never been to a game, but I have had the amazing experience of playing a couple school ball games on the turf.

What's your dream job?

I want to be a firefighter and hope to join the military.

Who are your role models?

My dad is my biggest role model because he has taught me everything I know. If I had to pick one more, it would be my older sister because of how successful she is and what she is doing with her life.
