What was the highlight of the 2023 season?
The highlight of the season would have to be beating the Northwest.
What was the biggest disappointment as far as the 2023 season goes?
The biggest disappointment would have to be that we looked like a winning team, but due to injuries to some key players on our team, we did not play to our capabilities.
Have you thought about what you will miss most about playing football for Minford as well as going to school there once you graduate?
What I’m going to miss about playing football and going to school here is definitely how strongly our community supports our sports teams, and I’ll miss the friends I have made here.
What were your feelings as you walked off of the football field for the last time after the 2023 season?
I felt upset that I knew we could have performed better than we did that season, and I thought about a plan that I could pursue to make us better for the next season.
What mark do you believe your class is leaving on the football program?
I believe we are working on leaving a strong mark for the underclass men to work hard.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement?
I think my biggest achievement for me would be playing variety from my freshman year to now as a football player and a baseball player.
Between baseball and football, which sport do you believe you are better at?
I believe that I am a better baseball player than I am a football player.
Of the two sports, baseball and football, which is the hardest to prepare for? Explain
Baseball would be a harder sport to prepare for than football. In baseball, baseball you have to make sure you can hit and throw well and know every situation because you never know when you’ll be in a situation you need to know.
Which of those two sports are you hoping to play in college?
I’m hoping to play college baseball.
What is the hardest part of being a multisport student athlete?
The hardest part is being able to transfer from one sport to another without a break. As soon as I’m done playing football, I transfer to baseball and get ready for that.
What is the best part of being a multisport student athlete?
The best part of being a multisport student athlete would be the ability to play another season with my friends that I’ve been playing with over the years.
Have you heard from any colleges as far as playing either sport? If so, would you name the schools and the sport you are being recruited for?
I have not heard from any colleges as far as playing sports for them.
What scares you?
What scares me is getting injured and not being able to step on a field again and play.
What hobbies other than sports do you have?
I hang out with my friends and do activities with my family.
PlayStation or X-Box?
Xbox
