What were your personal goals entering the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals?
My goals for 2023 were to get stronger as the season went on and be able to win football games.
What were the goals you had set for your team entering the 2023 season, and did the team achieve those goals?
The goals for the team were to have a winning season, and unfortunately we were not able to get that, but I believe in the coaching and the players, and I think we can switch that around and prove people wrong.
What are you going to miss the most from the 2024 class?
The bond I had with the team is something I will miss.
Which road game did you enjoy the most during the 2023 season? Explain
The North game was fun because the environment and the energy from both teams were fun to watch.
Which stadium that you played in during the 2023 season was the worst to play in? Explain
The N. A game because it was raining and cold, and we also lost that game, and that was also the last game in the regular season, so it was a disappointing road loss.
Which side of the line do you enjoy playing on the most? Explain
I love playing d-line because I love sacking the QB and being able to make tackles for the defense.
Which side of the line is the hardest to prepare for? Explain
I think it’s o-line because you have to look at each defensive line player and see what they are good at and what they are not good at, so it is very difficult to prepare for that.
Who was the best team that Central faced last season, and why were they the best?
Hilliard Bradley because that was the one team that blew out, and it was not close at all, and we played badly too.
Who was the best player that Central faced during the 2023 season, along with the team he played for?
I do not really know that we faced a lot of good players from different teams.
What will it take for Central to turn things around this season and make a deep playoff run?
It will take the whole team in order for us to make a deep playoff run; we also have to establish a winning culture, and we also need more leadership in order for us to start winning more games. I really think we can make a deep playoff run this year.
All-star games used to be an honor for players to be invited to and play in. These days, players seem to turn their noses up at them. If you are invited to play in one, will you?
I would play in all-star games because it would be a lifetime opportunity for me to compete with the best players in the state.
Do you feel as though private schools have an unfair advantage over public schools?
I do feel like private schools have an unfair advantage over public schools because they have more money and better resources than public schools.
Are you hearing from any schools about playing in college? If so, would you name some of the schools?
I have not heard anything back from any schools.
What scares you?
Having an injury that will be hard to overcome
What is your go-to snack?
I really do not have one; I will eat anything, to be honest.
Who is your role model?
Jason Kelce, probably because he was the leader of the o-line for the Eagles, and he is one of the best linemen of all time.
