What were your personal goals heading into your senior season, and were you able to achieve those goals?

develop better as an athlete and help my team as much as I can.

I was able to watch your season opener against Spencer County, and after the game, I walked away saying you guys were in for a good, if not great, season. How important was it for you guys to have kicked off the season with a win in the bowl game?

A win in the bowl game set the tone for how the rest of the season should've been. Everybody knew we could go far after that game.

What mark do you believe your class left the football program?

I think we really set the standard for how Hart County Football should continue to play and try to strive to do the same things, if not more, than our class.

What will you miss the most about playing high school football?

I'm definitely going to miss my brothers and playing for Coach Griffin.

What were the high and low points from your senior season?

Every part of the season was a high.

In all of the games you play, who was the best team you ever played against, and why do you think they were so good?

The best team we played was easily Bell County. Our defense just couldn't stop their run game. There is a lot of respect for them.

Did it seem like your senior season went by faster than previous seasons?

Absolutely. I had the most fun playing this past season.

The last time we spoke, via interview, you said that your biggest weakness is getting into position for up-field blocks. Was you able to turn that into a strength during your final high school season?

It definitely took me a minute to turn it into a strength. Towards the middle of the season, I was able to make those blocks.

I know that you have an offer from Greenville University. Can you name another school or two that are looking at you?

I have an offer from Union College, but I believe I'm off their radar now. Aside from Greenville University, Kentucky Christian University is looking to offer me

What has been the best part of the recruiting process?

I would say the feeling of getting looked at and contacted by coaches is the best part of it.

What has been the worst part of the recruiting process?

There hasn't been a bad part of the recruiting process. It's all been great.

If possible, will you be taking part in any Hart County games in 2024?

I'm definitely going to hit some of the games. I got to show some support for the upcoming seniors. They're my dawgs.

What is the one food you refuse to eat?

Soybeans are absolutely disgusting to me.

What was the last book you read along with the author?

Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck

Who is your favorite athlete?

I would have to say that Andrew Whitworth is my favorite athlete. Ever since I was young, I've always kind of looked up to and loved the way he played the game.
