The bus ride home after beating New Richmond was a special experience. There’s no better feeling than celebrating with the guys after beating a rival.
What are your primary responsibilities as a tight end?
In our offense, the tight end is utilized in a lot of different ways. I am always involved in the pass game and on almost every run play.
How would you describe your style of play?
I am a physical player. I’d rather run through you than try to get away.
What's been your biggest moment as a football player?
My biggest moment was my touchdown against Batavia, that pretty much sealed the game.
Who has been the best player that you have ever faced in a game, as well as the team he was on?
Cartae Ligon from Chillicothe.
Which away stadium is the best to play in?
Jackson is 100% the best and worst place to play. It depends on if you’re on the home or away side. There’s nothing like a Friday night in Jackson.
Can the band, fans, and cheerleaders get you pumped up before and during the game?
The community and my peers can definitely play a role in getting me and the team pumped up. When they bring the juice it changes the whole atmosphere.
How do you get over a bad game?
After the game I immediately start watching the game film and take notes on good and bad things from myself and the team. We can’t go back and change the past results so we just get in practice to make sure those mistakes don’t repeat.
What makes you a good teammate?
When someone makes a mistake I pick them up, and they do the same for me. Next play mentality.
Would you share with the readers some of the schools that you are getting recruited by?
As of now Georgetown, Thomas More, and a few others.
Do you feel that the transfer portal in college football is making it harder for high school players to get recruited?
It definitely has an impact but if you work hard enough to become great and put yourself on the map, schools will notice you.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play/
I would 100% play.
What is your game day routine?
I make sure to eat a good breakfast, I go to school, after that I go home and get my stuff ready for the game. I then grab some light food and head into team meetings.
Outside of sports what are you doing for fun?
I enjoy spending time with friends and bonding with teammates.
If you had one hour to set a talk with any athlete, who are you talking to?
Probably Gronk, he’s one of the greatest to play tight end. He could definitely give me tips.
You have to give a speech to the student-body at Western Brown High School. What will your topic be?

grown up with these people, and they’ve been a huge part of my life.
