  After a full day of work, I hit the gym, then made the short drive to Whetstone High School to watch the Braves battle Westland in a nonleague softball game. Westland came in with a 4–14 record, while the Braves came in with a 9–11 record. Westland scored a run in the top of the first, only to see the Braves score four in the bottom of the inning. Westland would score four in the third to take a 5-4 lead. The Braves came back with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning to lock this one back up at five. The Cougars would lead 10-8 after four innings. The Braves retook the lead with three in the bottom of the fifth to lead 11-10. After the Cougars were held scoreless in the sixth, the Braves erupted for nine runs in the bottom of the innings to post the 20-10 win. The big blast came on a three-run bomb from Brooklyn Brauner. Brauner ended her day with three hits and 4 RBI, with 3 runs scored. Overall the Braves outhit the Cougars 14-10. Leading the Cougars' attack was Abby ...
