Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
Something from last year that stands out to me is when I passed for 2 TDs and ran for three; I just felt like that was a really good game for me.
Who or what got you started playing football?
The person who got me started was probably my brother Tony. I wanted to play with him when I was younger, and then my parents let me.
What has been the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing high school sports?
The biggest lesson I have learned is to stay on the path of where you want to go. There is going to be a good game and a bad one, good practice and bad ones; just stay true to what you want to do.
What was the biggest moment of the 2025 season?
We won our first ever conference championship for football.
What was the toughest moment during the 2025 season?
The toughest moment was probably when we lost our first game because everybody thought we were going to be bad, and we lost, so they started to believe it more.
Who was the best player that you faced in a game during the 2025 season?
The best player we faced was probably Brian McGrady; he is a quarterback from Shroder. It was a close game; we ended up getting the win 28-21.
Which team that you faced last season was the best, along with the thing that made them so good?
Probably Coldwater; they are just such a well-rounded team. They don’t have many weaknesses, and they do their job.
Which road stadium did you enjoy playing in last season? Explain?
The road stadium I liked the most was Clark Montessori Field; it is just super echoey, and the field is nice, and I like how the stands go around.
What is your game day routine?
My game day routine is I wake up and go to school. Throughout the school day, I’m watching film for who we are playing against, and then we have a team meal before the game. We eat and talk about our game plan, and then we get to the field and I warm up.
What defense do you like to see your opponent line up in the best?
I like when opponents line up in man because I like showing them that they can’t guard my receivers.
Which defense makes you work the hardest?
Probably cover four just because there are so many people dropping into coverage.
How would you describe your style of play?
I’m a pocket sitter, but if I feel pressure, I will get out and make a play on foot or by throwing.
What did you improve on the most from the start of the season to the end of the season?
Slowing down—sometimes I would just get too sped up and miss the read.
What is a fad or style your generation has that you do not get?
I don’t really pay attention to that stuff.
Who are your role models?
My father and mother, they work very hard and provide for me.
What is your favorite class or subject?
Science is my favorite subject.
