Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

Something that stuck out from last season was the bond the whole team had; we got stuck with a really tough schedule, but we stayed together and didn’t flinch when it came time to play the game. Especially the Bridgeport game. We got killed, but we tried our hardest and fought back.

What are you going to miss the most from the 2025 class?

I’m going to miss them in the locker room because they were great for morale and were always there to pick you up when you got knocked down.

What has been your personal biggest moment as an athlete?

Probably going to Adidas Nationals for track

As an athlete, what has been your most embarrassing moment?

Probably playing Frankfort, WV. I played that game with a shoulder injury and got embarrassed a couple of times pretty bad.

Where should the state finals be held?

In Charleston, there’s no better feeling than driving to Charleston with your boys and staying in hotels together.

Can the fan, bands, and cheerleaders get you fired up?

Yes, of course; that’s how you know it’s football season.

Would you rather kick off the season with your rival, or face them in the final week of the regular season?

Face them in the final week of the season.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I'm a really hard worker, and I'm dedicated to what I do in the weight room and on the field.

Would you list your three biggest reasons for playing football?

My biggest and really only reason is just being out there with my friends and battling.

What have you accomplished during the off-season to become a better player?

I’ve really only been working on track, so I’ve just been in the weight room and working on footwork.

How did your track season go?

It went amazing; I’m very excited to keep working and have an insane senior season.

Which sport, track or football, are you hoping to do at the college level?

Definitely track

Will you play in any of the All-Star Game if you earn an invitation?

Yes, of course.

Where is the best local spot to grab a bite?

In the summer, definitely Howdys Dairy Owl in Follansbee—best ice cream around!

What is a skill or talent that you possess that would shock those who know you?

N/A

What is your favorite animal?

Duck-billed platypus

Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs.
