Getting my first interception and the bus rides home from winning against teams on the road are always the best.

What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?

The players of the class of 2025, as I built relationships with them, will miss them this season.

Which sport do you feel you are better at, baseball or football?

I think I’m the same at both; I don’t feel like I’m better at one sport than the other one.

How did your baseball season go?

Very good, and I’m looking forward to impacting the team next year.

What are your goals for the 2025 football season?

Win a state title. That’s all—no personal goals.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

Getting my first varsity minutes.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Highlands High School?

The teachers and coaches all help you academically and develop you into a great person.

What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete?

Balancing the harder classes like APs with football.

What type of defense do you like going up against the most as a wide receiver?

As a wide receiver, I love to go against man-on-man defense, as it gets me a great opportunity to get open on my route.

What was the highlight of the 2024 season?

Getting my first varsity interception against Boone County.

What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?

Coming up just shy of making the state championship.

What makes you a good teammate?

Always supporting them no matter the outcome of the play or the game.

When the game is on the line, why should your number be called?

I know that I can make any play, and my teammates are behind my back.

What is your favorite class or subject?

History as it is is very interesting.

What scares you?

The fear of coming up short in a big game.

Who are your favorite and least favorite NFL teams?

My favorite NFL team is the Cincinnati Bengals, and my least favorite would have to be the Steelers.

I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? My personal goals this season were to stay relaxed at all times and make smart decisions while under pressure. And have a successful season. Were you able to attain the goals you set? Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
