Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.

Our first win of the season against Central Crossing. Our student section and the sidelines were fired up, cheering loudly. You could see the effect it had on our team in the moment; our morale was higher than ever.

What will you miss from the 2025 class?

I’ll miss all the seniors I looked up to, who led our team through the thick and thin.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned from playing sports?

It doesn’t matter when or where you started; it matters how much work you put in.

Is there a pro or college lineman you pattern your game after?

Aaron Donald’s cross chop and Nick Bosa’s speed-to-power long arm.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

Starting wrestling for the first time this year, losing 8 matches before winning my first JV match, to earning a starting varsity spot and earning my first varsity letter.

What is your game day routine?

The night before, I drink a protein shake before bed. Wake up and drink another, then go through the school day. I make sure all my homework is done because I won’t have time to do it at home. Our football program always has a team meal a few hours before each game, so I stock up on carbs. Then I go out on the field ready to play.

Can the band, fans, and cheerleaders get you fired up before or after the game?

I get fired up from all the people that come out to support us. But especially the band, when they start playing our pride song, it fills my heart with a fire, and it just makes me proud to be a part of something great.

How important is it to you that the team gets along off of the field as well as on it?

I think it’s one of the most important things for a team. Chemistry on a team will impact everything; you have to trust your brother beside you to have your back on and off the field. It will make or break the team, and I’ve seen it go both ways.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game?

No one that I can recall.

If you could only defeat one of the other two teams in Westerville, which one do you want to get that win against?

Westerville North

What makes you a good teammate?

I make sure everyone is included, whether that be on or off the field, because I know how much it means to a player to have that. Also setting a good example for the underclassmen and giving them someone to look up to.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I’ve shown a lot of progression from starting football in my freshman year to now, in school and on the field. I’ve shown and will keep showing dedication to getting better and working on my craft. Not only that, but my time learning the game of football, it’s more than just hitting the guy in front of you. It’s paying attention to the field and alignments and making quick decisions that can affect the game.

Where should the state finals be held?

The Cleveland Browns stadium

Who are your favorite and least favorite NFL teams?

My favorites are the San Francisco 49ers. Least favorite: Kansas City Chiefs.

Have you been to any Columbus Clippers games?

Yes, one game a few years ago.

Who are your role models?

Some football coaches who have helped me become the player I am today. As well as my parents, who have supported me through my football career financially and emotionally.
