What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school player?
I was sad, but when I was talking to my coaches and teammates, I realized that I gave it my all and did all that I could to win.
What will you remember the most from the 2024 season?
Winning the CVC metro division for the first time since 2009.
What will you remember the most from your high school football career?
I will never forget taking the field with my brothers on our senior night and coming out with a great win over Cardinal.
Will you accept an invitation to participate in any of the post-season all-star games?
It would be a great honor, and I would definitely consider it.
Who was the best player you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he played on?
My first year starting varsity was my sophomore year, when I played against Richard Luecke from Lutheran West.
Who was the best team you faced?
I think the hardest team I faced was probably my sophomore season when we played Valley Christian in the playoffs.
What mark do you believe your class left on the football program?
I think we showed all of the underclassmen what level of work is needed in order to achieve your goals. Also, the importance of sticking together: we had 13 seniors this year, which is one of the largest classes in recent Trinity football history, and most of us have been playing together since freshman year.
Which road stadium was the toughest to play in during your high school career, along with the other reason it was so hard to play in?
Berkshire because they always have a good-sized student section, and after big plays they flash all of the lights in the stadium.
What made you a good teammate?
I always try to pick up my teammates after a bad play, and I always try to push them to be as good as I know they can be.
What are your goals for the 2024-2025 basketball season?
My goals are to win another conference championship and to do anything I possibly can to help the team win.
What is the toughest part of being a lineman?
The most challenging part as a center is having to call out the fronts while focusing on the cadence and the snap and also trying to get off the ball fast in order to get a good block.
Can you share with the readers any colleges you are hearing from?
There are a few colleges I have been talking to, but right now my top choice is Marietta.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Stephen Curry, when he was coming into the league, all of the scouts were saying he was too injury-prone and he was too small, but now he has blossomed into one of the greatest players of all time.
What is your favorite class or subject?
My favorite subject is history. I love to learn about what humans have done in the past to get us to where we are today.
Who are your role models?
My parents, because even on the toughest days they always made sure to raise me right.
