Would you list the awards you have won during your football career?
I got HM all-league last year as a sophomore.
Who or what got you started playing football?
I just started because it was another sport to play, but I have really developed a passion for the game.
How long have you played football? Alongside other reasons, why do you continue to play?
I have been playing football since the third grade. I continue to play because I have found a love for the game and want to constantly work on and perfect my craft.
Which side of the line do you think you’re the best at?
I think I’m about even, but I’m probably a little better on the d-line because of my size.
What part is the best about being a lineman at licking heights?
The fact that we have so many guys to compete and just the whole offensive and defensive lines energy
What is the toughest part of being a lineman?
The hardest part is that you have to move 250–300 lbs, if not heavier, every 30 seconds for a 2-hour period.
Who is the toughest teammate to square up with at practice?
Jake Lopinto, because of his mixture of speed and strength
Who is the best player you have faced in a game, along with what team he played for?
The Tri-Valley nose guard would bull rush, and as soon as I tried to sit down, he would pull
What is the toughest part of practice?
I would definitely say the end is when the d-line runs, and then after that, the whole team runs.
Would you rather start the season with your rival or end it with them?
I would rather end the season with them because we have played more football and we will already be hot.
What is your game-day routine?
At the end of school, I go to the subway and then go back to the locker room and take a pregame poop, and then I’m ready to play.
Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids that come and root for you on game night?
I think that most of the team members do pretty well with younger kids, and they see us as role models.
What is your favorite type of music?
I would say rap.
What's your favorite snack?
Just a simple PBJ sandwich
Have you ever been to a Denison football game?
No, I have not
