Who or what got you interested in playing football?

The Pittsburgh Steelers, but more specifically, the killer bees 

What has been your biggest moment as a football player?

Scoring a fumble recovery touchdown while down 7 against our rivals

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for?

Idriz Ahmetovicc played for New Oxford and was just a genuine freak athlete who plays for Bloomsburg University now.

Looking back at only the road games that you have played in, which stadium has had the best overall atmosphere, and what made it so?

Playing at New Oxford week 1 on their 100th anniversary after they beat us the last couple years, there were so many people, and it was just hard to hear yourself think.

OLB or DE, which position do you feel that you are best at?

I feel more comfortable as an outside linebacker, but being a defensive end is always fun, mostly because I combine both positions and just call myself an edge rusher because that’s what I love to do.

OLB or DE, which position do you feel is the toughest to prepare for?

Outside backer, for sure, it’s harder to prepare for a matchup with a receiver and still have to worry about the run, while at the end, the only thing to worry about is if a team would run more option or counter.

What do you believe is the strongest part of your game?

I would say my drive to get better every day and my will to want to because it makes me push myself more and want to be better.

Which part of your game must you improve on the most?

Well, right now, it’s getting healthy. I was in a car accident 2 months ago and broke my femur and had to get plastic surgery. I will only miss the first 3–4 weeks, but other than that, I definitely pass coverage.

What did you learn from your junior season that you will use this year to help you be a better overall player? 

To be more of a team player, focus on yourself, and believe that when you play as a team, you will get better results and let your play do the talking.

What are your goals for the 2024 season?

Win the league, then districts, be one of the best linebackers in the league, and go 9-1 or better.

Who is the one teammate who is always serious?

We were more of a team that has fun, but I’m usually really serious, but my one teammate who locks in and gets serious is my friend Jack Gaustch.

Where should the state finals be held?

Acrisure Stadium is the home of the Steelers. With so much history behind that stadium and franchise and the greats to play on that field, I couldn’t think of a better place.

Where is the best mom-pop place to grab a meal?

The best place for me is anywhere that has chicken, whether it’s Popeyes, Chickfila, or once in awhile, KFC.

Where do you go to get your sports news?

The Gettysburg Times, or Fox 43, and sometimes the York Daily Record

Who is your favorite athlete?

TJ Watt I really try to base my game off of my favorite player, and he’s the best of the best and plays for the best team in the NFL.
