What did you learn about yourself during the 2023 season that you can use this season to be a better high school football player?
I learned last year that starting on Varsity as a freshman puts a lot of weight on my shoulders, and that weight will be even bigger this year.
What are your goals for the 2024 season?
My goals for the 2024 season are 100 tackles, 5 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 1 FF.
What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Fairfield Christian Academy?
I feel that the best part of being a student athlete at FCA is that we are all very close as a team. We each have a good relationship with one another, and it overall helps when it comes to playing on that field.
What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete at Fairfield Christian Academy?
I feel the toughest part about being a student athlete at FCA is that you’re going to have to make sacrifices as we don’t have as many players as other teams.
What or who got you started playing football?
Growing up in Pickerington, football was always the heart of the town. The person who got me to play football was my dad. He’s someone I’ve always looked up to and wanted to make happy.
What was the highlight of the 2023 season?
I think the highlight of the 2023 season was being undisputed league champions.
Last season, as with every time I have watched you guys play, no matter the score, your team always seems like they are having fun, and from the stands, it appears you guys never give up no matter the score. How do you guys manage this even when the score is out of hand?
I honestly couldn’t tell you how we always manage to have fun. It’s just something we’ve developed as a team throughout the year.
What is the toughest part of practice?
The toughest part of practice is either the tempo or kickoff.
Which part of practice do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the defense part of practice the most.
Would you rather start the season with your rival or end the season with them? Explain
I feel that ending the season with your rival is better. If you like them, it can bring a new sense of urgency to go even further in the playoffs.
What do you believe, as a player, are the advantages and disadvantages of not having a stadium on your own campus?
We will actually have a stadium on our campus this year. It is currently being built, and we will play our first game on it this year.
What is your favorite class or subject?
My favorite subject is math.
What was the last book that you read, along with the author?
