What or who got you started playing football?
I have always loved football since I was a kid and have always loved watching football, so I started playing.
How long have you played football, along with the reason you continue to play?
After 3 years, I continue to play football because I enjoy playing alongside my teammates and because I want to change the way Butler football is viewed.
What will the 2024 team have to do before the season starts to ensure that you have a better season than last?
We have to stay in the weight room and learn all of the plays until they are muscle memory.
What is the toughest part of being the quarterback at Butler High School?
The toughest part of being a quarterback is that you are the general of the offense, so you must know every facet of the offense and every single position, as well as see the entire field all the time.
How did your volleyball season go?
It was good because we had a strong run in the playoffs, but unfortunately fell short to Seneca Valley in the WPIAL 3rd place match. I am looking forward to being better next season.
What do you believe is the strongest part of your game?
I believe the strongest part of my game is the combination of my ability to hit any window because of my arm strength and my ability to see the field.
What is the toughest part of practice?
The toughest part of practice is lifting and conditioning because it is very exhausting.
What is your favorite weather to play in?
Warm and cloudy because if it is sunny, the receivers can lose the ball in the sun.
Would you share with everyone any camps you have attended, along with the most important lessons you are learning?
Miami of Ohio Academic Mega Camp, Youngstown State University QB Camp, Cornell, Princeton, and the Delaware camp. I have learned to keep my head up because every rep can’t be perfect and to adjust to my receiver.
Who is the toughest teammate to throw against in practice?
Preston Simko because he is good at coverage and loves to talk trash.
Where should the state finals be held?
Acrisure Stadium, because playing in an NFL stadium is awesome.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?
I haven’t had my biggest moment as an athlete yet because I am still improving.
Outside of sports, what do you do for fun?
I like to stay busy, which includes golfing, hanging out with friends, and playing sand volleyball in the summer.
Who are your role models?
My parents, because they have taught me great morals and push me to always do my best.
What is your go-to snack?
My favorite thing to snack on is fresh fruit, especially mango.
