Height and weight

What was the highlight of your 2023 season?

The highlight of my season last year was easily strip-sacking Harrison Central’s quarterback and setting the tone for the rest of the game.

What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

I feel the strongest part of my game is my ability to create big plays, going from huge runs to crazy sacks to forced fumbles or even scoops and scores. Something big is always happening.

Which part of your game are you hoping to improve before the season starts?

The biggest thing and what’s key to my success is staying low. I tend to stand tall sometimes, and it causes some trouble, but nothing crazy.

What are your goals for the 2024 season?

My goals for the 2024 season are really simple. I’m going to get 1000 yards, 8 touchdowns, 3 picks, and 60 tackles, and I’m going to be an all-Ohio player.

Which game are you most excited about this season? Explain

To be honest, there’s more like 4. I’m super excited to play Youngstown Christian Week 1. This new team hasn’t played before, and they think they can have a great season, so I’m excited for that. The others are Tusky Valley, and one of our old coaches coaches there, so that we can have a super fun and exciting atmosphere. Harrison Central is another team we barely scraped by last year, so that’s another game that means a lot to our success this year. And last is Garaway. No one has us winning this game, so being the underdogs for the first time since my freshman year is going to be really fun, and I know we can win.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of not having your home stadium at the school?

An advantage is that practice doesn’t start until 3:30, which gives us time after school to chill and grab something to eat before we go out and practice. But there really isn’t one disadvantage I can think of.

Would you rather open the season with your rival or face them in the final regular season game?

I’m going to say this as nice as I can. I would be perfectly fine getting them off the schedule completely to help our playoff seating, but if I were to choose, it would be at the end to help us refresh for the playoffs

What has been the highlight of your athletic career so far, at any age?

The highlight of my athletic career is this year in basketball. We made it to the Elite 8, and that was probably the coolest thing ever. I got to see guys like Rodney Smith, Jallen, and Dylan Phillips go crazy that whole year.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game?

The best player I’ve ever played was Chase Hall. I kid you not, this dude had 300 yards on us during a playoff game. The crazy thing is, we were up by 14 at a point and lost 63-40 something, but he goes to Ohio University now.

Who is the one teammate who goes 100 mph at all times?

The teammate who’s always going 100 is Gabe Campbell. He’s not the best player, but he tries, and so you always need guys like that in the locker room.

What is the most rewarding part of being a running back?

The most rewarding part of being a running back is doing what no one else wants to do, and that’s getting those short, hard yards. Everyone knows what you're going to do; you just have to show you want it more. And I love it.

What is the best part of being part of the football family at Malvern High School?

The best part of being part of this small football family is knowing that they have my back when no one else does, and that just makes me want to play better because, at the end of the day, we’re all entertainers.

What toppings go on your burger?

Not much bacon pickles cheese, that’s about it.

What is your favorite type of music?

RNB, don’t get me wrong. I love rap, but I also love to sing, and sometimes the two mix, and that’s perfect.

Who is your favorite pro football team?

Oh, that’s easy, the Dallas Cowboys, before moving to Ohio. I lived in Texas for 12 years in the in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
