In watching your HUDL package, I was impressed with how you get low to make the tackle. How much prep goes into being able to go low to make the tackle and do so as easily as you do?

In practice, I practice staying low throughout the whole rep we do so it can translate to the game and come as easy as it does.

Another thing that stuck out on your HUD page was the way you seemed to read the play. How much game film do you study to prepare yourself for a game?

I study all parts of the film, from the QB’s read to the Olines movement, and just make mental notes and point them out to my teammates and coaches.

What do you believe is the strongest part of your game?

I believe the strongest part of my game is my ability to get downhill and make the tackle at the line of scrimmage.

What part of your game must you improve to be a better player?

I must improve on reading my keys, and once I improve on that, I’ll be the best player I know I can be.

Can you share with us the camps you have attended and the things that you are learning from the camps?

I’ve been to a Syracuse camp recently, and they’ve shown me how to become a better player in all aspects of the game.

What are your goals for the 2024 season?

My goals for the 2024 season are to make 1st Team All Conference again, hopefully All State, and surpass 80 tackles this year.

Coming off of a 3-7 season where the Trojans were not able to record a win against a team with a winning record, who has to change this ear to make sure this season goes better?

The seniors have to change; we’ve seen what this team could be and have taken that leap to be the leaders of the team and guide us in that direction.

Who has been the best player that you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he paid for?

I would say number 11 from Hawken last year.

How long have you played football, along with the reasons you keep playing?

I’ve been playing since I was in 5th grade. I kept playing because of the excitement it gave me to be able to make a big play on the field.

After the season is over, if you are invited to play in any of the All-Star games, will you?

If I am invited, I would love to play an All-Star game, but I want to play at the next level, so I would think heavily about it because of the injury risk.

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

My biggest moment was scoring my first rushing touchdown last year.

Where should the state finals be held?

The state finals should be held in Canton at the Hall of Fame stadium.

What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite subject is math.

Who is your favorite athlete?

My favorite athlete would be Lamar Jackson.

Have you ever gone to a Cleveland Monsters hockey game?

No, I have never been to one.
